My Aunt Clarice had her retirement party today for her near 40 years (39 years, 10 months) of service to Wells Fargo (formerly Norwest formerly Banco formerly Northwestern National Bank). It was a LOONG day and many relatives came....Hmmm.... My parents were late (as usual) and my Mother forgot her purse. Bessie and Svea looked splendid, especially Bessie who had her hair up and wore a very pretty outfit.

Drove out to the Excelsior branch of the Hennepin County Library. I am a candidate for a job there as a circulation aide...It's way out in the burbs but I think I would really like the job. I hope I get it.

Well I finally got this thing up and going. It took me a long time to figure out all this stuff to get the site working.

I went to the Alliant Techsystems (ATK) vigil this morning in Edina. It was good to see the McDonald sisters and Micah's dad there. At Baker's Square I talked at length with the attorney investigating Edina's trespass ordinance that was passed in response to the ATK vigils. The ordinance does not recognize the defense of "claim of right" that is included in the state statute, and may be invalid as a result. The city of Edina is playing pretty dirty.
